I come from the land of ranch dressing. It’s the pretty much the standard here for dipping, dressing, etc… Don’t get me wrong here, I do love ranch, but there are many other delicious sauces out there that are worth our attention!

I’m a little nuts when it comes to sauces. I can hardly eat a meal without lots of different things to dip or drizzle. I love sauces that are versatile, that give simple foods a boost without overwhelming them.

This peanut sauce is nutty, spicy, a little sweet and tangy. It makes a perfect dip for crunchy raw veggies, but can also be enjoyed many other ways, such as tossed in a noodle salad or quick stir fry. It can be used as a dressing for a crunchy slaw or drizzled onto crisp lettuce wraps!

Here’s what you need:

Not like I need another reasons to love this sauce but the fact that it comes together in about 5 minutes makes it even better. Plus, these are pantry staples for me. I always have these ingredients hanging out in the kitchen!

Note: This recipe can be made vegan! Just swap the honey for maple syrup.

For the best results, and to save yourself time from having to mince, grate the fresh ginger and garlic on a microplane. Then, just whisk in the soy, sesame oil, chili paste, vinegar, honey, lime and coconut milk.

For a thinner sauce for drizzling, add a little water or more coconut milk until it reaches your desired consistency.

This creamy, nutty sauce makes a perfect dressing for a crunchy vegetable salad, like this Crunchy Broccoli Salad with Peanut Dressing!

Keep leftover peanut sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
